The Fondazione Terzo Pilastro supported the ECOS (European Culture and Sport Organization) in its “Il viaggio del Persano per la salute mentale” (Trip of the Persano for Mental Health) project. The project consisted in a trip across Italy, from Campania to Trieste, with a Persano horse, mounted by a rider. Stops were made during the trip where mental healthcare facilities were located, and events were organized – with the participation of the media, including Rai TV – aimed at raising awareness for mental health, especially in healthcare facilities and hospitals.
