TESORI NASCOSTI (Hidden Treasures)

This was an exhibition of secret masterpieces belonging to some of the most important private collections of contemporary art in Rome, each documented according to a the collector’s personal key of interpretation. Outlining an journey through the history of art in the last fifty years, from Burri to Warhol, visitors were able to reflect on what collecting has meant in Italy over the last decades and the reasons for which people become so enthusiastic about a work as to yearn to own it.
