LA SPAGNA DIPINGE IL ’900. CAPOLAVORI DEL MUSEO NACIONAL CENTRO DE ARTE REINA SOFÍA (Spain paints the twentieth century – Masterpieces belonging to the Centro de Arte Reina Sofia)

An exhibition of the works of Spanish artists in the twentieth century coming from the prestigious Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia of Madrid was shown to the Italian public for the first time. Divided into three sections, over sixty works were displayed and amid paintings, drawings and installations the most important episodes in the history of Iberian art in the twentieth century were explored, ranging from Picasso to the national and international avant-gardes such as cubism and surrealism up to the abstract generation, Realism and New Figuration and the most significant contemporary artists such as Miguel Barcelò and Juan Muñoz
