The Honorary President of the Academia Musmeci Greco, Emmanuele F. M. Emanuele Professor – who competed as a national fencer and is currently an honorary member of the Fédération Internationale d’Escrime (International Fencing Federation), rejoiced.  The Professor, together with Fondazione Terzo Pilastro – Internazionale, which he chairs, supports the activities of one of the oldest and renowned fencing schools  established back in 1878 in a prestigious building on via Via del Seminario in Rome that the Emanuele family actually donated to the Greco family.  In particular, Fondazione Terzo Pilastro promotes, as advocated by professor Emanuele due to his sensitivity the ‘Scherma senza limiti’ project, created to engage disabled youths in fencing that considerably benefits athletes in terms of integration, mobility and quality of life.
