Special Mention to Professor Emanuele, Ambassador to the Città dei Templi

The mayor of Agrigento, Lillo Firetto, conferred a Special Mention to Professor Emmanuele F. M. Emanuele, the new Ambassador to the Città dei Templi on the morning of the of May 14th 2019.

The mayor conferred the prestigious recognition to the eminent Chairman of Fondazione Terzo Pilastro – Internazionale and Professor Emanuele F. M. Emanuele was included amongst the personalities of international stature who, with their commitment and love of the city, have contributed to uphold the good name of Agrigento and its ancient Valley of the Temples.

The reason for the award reads, “Tireless advocate of the pacifying power of dialogue, with his far-sighted activity characterised by the recognition of the unifying value of poetry, art and culture, and by choosing Agrigento as the venue for conferences, events and exhibitions of international importance he has helped to spread the image of this region as an emblem of dialogue, art and culture – unifying and peace-making tools – acknowledging the city’s cultural, artistic and social centrality in the Mediterranean, basin of growth for contemporary civilization.”

To end an eventful day, the Amii Stewart & Gerardo Di Lella Pop Orchestra held an exclusive concert in the evening at the Teatro Pirandello in Agrigento, offered by the Chairman of Fondazione Terzo Pilastro – Internazionale, Prof. Emmanuele F. M. Emanuele.
