‘Internship in China’ project: accomplished by Fondazione Terzo Pilastro in association with the Four Stars employment agency and internship promoter: included six full scholarships for graduates or graduands aged between 22 and 29 years resident in Central and Southern Italy, with a good command of the English language to attend a six months Internship Master’s Program in Shanghai.
The international symposium on the evolution of China’s role in the Mediterranean region ‘ChinaMed Syposium’: promoted and supported by Fondazione Terzo Pilastro in association with the ChinaMed project held in the Casa dei Cavalieri di Rodi in Rome.

IULM: Master’s degree course in Oriental Languages and Cultures: promoted and supported by Fondazione Terzo Pilastro in association with the IULM University, aims to train professionals with the appropriate technical and language skills to work in the Arab and Islamic world and in China and language mediators capable of working as translators or linguists in the most various fields (ranging from trade to international diplomacy, scientific research and import export).
The Foundation has placed twenty scholarships at the disposal of students (fifteen of which fully cover tuition fees and five partially cover said fees).

Project in Jaramana (Damascus): supported by the Foundation in association with the non-profit Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria (ICU), to create a football field for the local community and Iraqi refugees in order to encourage integration between the different cultures.
Open Hospitals Project: Fondazione Terzo Pilastro supported the AVSI association to accomplish a project created in close association with the Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See in Damascus that aimed to develop three non-profit hospitals; two in Damascus and one in Aleppo. The contribution of Fondazione Terzo Pilastro aimed in particular to provide cutting edge equipment to the two hospitals in Damascus, managed by two religious organisations (one Italian and the other French).

Mar Musa al-Habashi Monastery Restoration project (desert North-East of Damascus): the Foundation contributed to the building of new wing of the Monastery in cooperation with the Italian non-profit association, Khalil Allah-the friend of God, which fosters harmony between the Christians and Muslims in the Mediterranean region.

Project to reconstruct a school with a Catholic church in Aleppo: which should be accomplished by Fondazione Terzo Pilastro in association with the Aga-Khan Trust for Culture, and would represent the most important international project of historical value in the region.

Peace Project “One More Step Towards Peace” (Aqaba): supported by the Foundation and promoted by the non-profit Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria (ICU), the project included a series of meetings between Arab and Israeli students, and exchange projects involving the students of colleges, in Aqaba, Jordan and in Eilat, Israel.

Project to “Improve Employment Opportunities in the Energy and Environment sectors in Jordan”: supported by the Foundation and promoted the non-profit Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria (ICU), the project has to date enabled the creation of a both a waste processing and recycling plant in the north of Jordan, near the Syrian border and the restoration of pumping stations in the same area, to ensure water supply in villages inhabited by Jordanians and Syrian refugees.

Project to irrigate the semi-arid agricultural areas of Nabeul: the Foundation supported the project in collaboration with the non-profit Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria (ICU), to install pumping stations in order to turn the arid areas into cultivable land.

International Festival of Symphonic Music in El Jem: totally supported by the Foundation the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma participated in the most prestigious concert event on the southern shore of the Mediterranean Sea in association with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Tunisi.

Project for ‘Career Counselling and Job Placement for Vulnerable Youths in the Reception Centre in Rabieh’: supported by Fondazione Terzo Pilastro, in association with ARCS – Arco Culures Solidali, the project involved vocational training courses and psychological support for 100 youths between 17 and 25 years of age and also facilitated their reintegration in the social context.

Maides… Life is Now project: Fondazione Terzo Pilastro supported Fundacion Mae de Deu dels Innocents i Desamparatsper to purchase a minibus to transport circa 70 patients with socio-psychological problems who attend mental health rehabilitation programmes (Valencia).

Project shelter for immigrant women victims of human trafficking: accomplished by Fondazione Terzo Pilastro in Barcelona and Zaragoza.
Support for the Fundacion Hospital de Santiago: fulfilled by Fondazione Terzo Pilastro in order to contribute to the functioning of the Hospital de Santiago in the city of Cuenca in south west Spain, halfway between Madrid and Valencia, a primary inpatient care hospital for Alzheimer’s patients.
Support for the Francisco de Vitoria University – Madrid: fulfilled by Fondazione Terzo Pilastro following the economic crisis caused by the COVID – 19 public health emergency, in order to contribute to the University’s project to support the families of the neediest students.

Teatridimare project 2019: the project was submitted by the Associazione Compagnia Cajka in Quartu S. Elena (Cagliari) to Fondazione Cultura e Arte included free theatrical performances organised on the wharves of ports. In 2019, the project took the company to the Athens and Epidarus Festival in Greece with the performances ‘Blu’ and “Arlecchin dell’onda. The Tour continued in August in Sardinia and in several locations off the tourist track and ended in November in Cagliari. The project was accomplished under the aegis of the Italian Navy.

Refurbishment of rooms in the premises of the Institute of Cultural Monuments (IMK) in Tirana: a project promoted and accomplished by the Foundation in association with the Cooperazione Italiana allo Sviluppo in Albania, in order to provide new workshops for the restoration and preservation of cultural heritage monuments in Albania.
Exhibition on the Masters of Italian Art: exhibition titled “Capolavori dell’arte italiana del Novecento (Masterpieces of Italian art in the twentieth century)” promoted and produced by Fondazione Terzo the National Art Gallery in Tirana, with works from the Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Rome.
