ENNIO CALABRIA – Rome
Exactly fifty years after his first solo exhibition (Galleria La Feluca, Rome, November 1958) and just over thirty years after his last anthological exhibition in Rome (Museo di Castel Sant’Angelo, 1987), Ennio Calabria receives an important tribute through the large anthological exhibition held in the halls of Palazzo Cipolla as requested by Professor Emmanuele F. M. Emanuele. The exhibition titled “verso il tempo dell’essere. Opere 1958 – 2018”, has been promoted by Fondazione Terzo Pilastro – Internazionale, produced by POEMA in association with the Archivio Calabria and curated by Gabriele Simongini. Around eighty artworks between paintings (some of which have been produced for the occasion in 2018) and pastel drawings will report the entire career of this leader of Italian and European visionary and existential figuration.
The opening ceremony will be held at Palazzo Cipolla, via del corso on the 19th of November at 6 p.m.
